Coach + Royal Windsor - South Essex

Windsor Castle, a Royal home and fortress for over 900 years. The largest occupied castle in the world, remains a working palace today.  Enjoy a guided tour of the exterior, precincts and wards, then step inside the late Queen's favourite residence.  During the winter extra rooms known as the Semi-State apartments are shown. You'll also visit St. George's Chapel, an active centre for worship, with daily services open to all and where we see the resting place of eleven monarchs including HM Queen Elizabeth II.
Please note guiding is not permitted inside the state and semi state apartments or chapel, but your blue badge guide will be available throughout the visit to answer your questions.
There will be a break for lunch in Windsor then we tour the Royal Landscape and visit the Windsor Farm Shop where the King sells produce from the Royal Farms before heading home.
